KX Tree Shears offer ultra-high torque rotators. 

• The ring-and-pinion rotators on these grapples allow for delimbing, holding large branches at angles that conventional rotators won't allow. Typically, hydraulic rotators would be overpowered and slew when trying to hold logs and large limbs at any angle not parallel to the ground. 

Mounting plate options: 

• Zero-degree or 45-degree mount kits are in stock depending on your primary use. For forest pruning and thinning applications the 45-degree bracket allows for easy alignment and reach for thinning without extending your excavator boom cylinder.  This configuration ensures maximum power for reaching out and holding the wood and the shear. 

• Mini Excavator mounts are fabricated in house and available for many machines. 

• CAT 305,309, Yanmar Vio35 to SV100, JCB, Kubota kx040 to KX-57.

 Accumulator systems:

• KX accumulator fingers allow for multiple trees to be held while you continue cutting additional trees. The accumulator increases productivity for heavy thinning operations. ​

Hydraulic Configurations: 

• Single Set of Hydraulic lines: Excavators with a single set of hydraulic lines can operate the KX tree shear open/close and rotate circuits with the addition of a hydraulic diverter. Diverter kits with custom hoses are in stock and fabricated in-house. 

• Dual set of hydraulic lines: Excavators with two sets of ​hydraulic lines can hook up directly to open/close and the rotator. 

• We can make custom length hydraulic hoses for your machine so you can simply plug directly into a 1/2 flat face coupler. Contact us for your customer hydraulic hose package.
